Spinal Decompression

We are excited to announce the arrival of our new DOC Spinal Decompression table. This is a TRUE spinal decompression table, not to be confused with the traction table that most chiropractors market as spinal decompression. This is not a traction cable wrapped around a harness that has one pull setting. Our DOC Decompression Table has separate motors for both lumbar (low back) and cervical (neck) areas. The table is incredibly precise and is fully computerized to accurately target the specific vertebral level of concern. We are excited to inroduce this to our patients that struggle with Bulged or Herniated Discs, Degenerative Disc Disease, Stenosis, Spondylolisthesis, Sciatica, Radiculopathy, and many more pathologies and ailments. Please call us to learn more about how spinal decompression can help you!

What is Spinal Decompression?

Nonsurgical spinal decompression utilizes a motorized table that you are harnessed to that separates and gently tractions the spine and surrounding muscles. This change takes pressure off the vertebral discs - the gel-like cushions between the vertebrae in your spine - by creating negative pressure in the disc, or vacuum effect. The result is that the bulging or herniated discs may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine (decompression). When the spine is decompressed, it helps to promote the movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs so they can heal.
